Julie is the founder and editor of goodmakertales.com, a website she started in 2021, dedicated to ethical and sustainable fashion and home. She loves uncovering the truth about the issues in the industry, creating brand round ups to help people shop better, and interviewing her favourite sustainable brands.
She set up the site after being made redundant mid-Covid 6 months pregnant. She’s been interested in sustainability all her life but hadn’t considered the environmental or social impacts of fashion before. She previously had a fun 20-year career in real estate development in the UK, Abu Dhabi and Spain, always with a particular interest in sustainable development.
When not working on Good Maker Tales, Julie is with her two precious young daughters and enjoying the sunshine in Madrid!
